The Perks of Being a Paid Blogger
I have been working as a hired content writer for several years now. And what I can attest is that offering blog writing services is a lucrative and very fulfilling part-time job. Come to think of it, the hundred of spare hours that I would have spent watching useless videos or browsing lousy stuff on the Internet was converted into something more fruitful.
I started offering blog writing services back when I was still student. Because I needed additional money for my school projects and other non-academic activities, I had no choice but to look for a part-time work that would not impede my rather jam-packed weekday schedule.
And since I have some interest in writing, not to mention the hours that I spent in front of my computer doing useless stuff in the evenings, I decided to try working as an online content writer.
Truth to be told, the pressure of having to write articles article that I have no previous knowledge of was initially frustrating. But since I needed to earn something, I had no choice but to adjust and try to enjoy what I am doing – which is the very thing that happened after spending hours writing articles about cats, laptops, stocks, and other topics.
I admit that my decision to start offering blog writing services was simply because of my financial need. After a while, however, I have realized that I am not just doing it for the money. I am doing it for something else: personal satisfaction.
The reality is that being a hired content writer doesn’t only benefit a person financially. There are other perks in this kind of job as well.
For full-time online writers, for instance, having this kind of job does not require you to beat the daily rush hours just to get to work on time. Moreover, they almost always get the chance to choose which time of the day they would start writing their articles.
Like regular workers, those who offer blog writing services also have to report to their employers. They, however, does not have to think about annoying meetings and confusing memos – all they need to worry about is the deadline and the quality of the articles that they submit.
There are other benefits of having this kind of job. But my personal favorite is the fact that I am compelled to research about things that I haven’t heard of in the past. Like I said, initially this was frustrating. But after a while, I’ve come to realize how this experience makes me more knowledgeable on a lot of things that I would not learn in classrooms or in workplaces.
These are the things that made me stay in this industry for so long. And for those who want to experience such benefits, I urge you to try offering blog writing services.
